I have even used driver cleaner in safe mode to remove the 334.86 nvidia driver and replace it with the older 332 driver. I have tried every rendering option available. I have tried running the emulator by right clicking and selecting run with nvidia gpu. I have enabled maximum performance in nvidia settings and default gpu is set to 680m in global settings. GPU - Intel 4000 HD / Nvidia 680m (Optimus enabled laptop) The main game I am trying to play is Madden 13 but from the title screen on the sound chops in and out and the game looks like it is in slow motion. No matter what i do I cannot play any wii games with decent results. Hi i've been searching this forum and google for about two days trying to find a solution to my problem. If somebody have any idea how I can send the keys from VisualBasic to Dolphin I would also make my own patch for this problem if there is no official solution. I also tried to send the key events from a Visual Basic program with the SendKeys.Send() function to dolphin but it also doesn't worked. I've already tried the background input and a lot of different settings but it doesn't help. But the thing that the emulated wiimoute doesn't work is a bit annoying because when I use dolphin on bus I can't use a real wiimoute.ĭoes everyone knows any advice, how I can solve my problem? Even the frame rate is with 45-75FPS very good for a tablet PC. There’s no error message when I started an emulation. If I use an external mouse and keyboard or a real wiimote it works perfect.

On the newest HP Tablet PC the emulated wiimote don't recognize any user input of the intern keyboard, touchpad, touchscreen or screen keyboard but every shortcuts like loading an state works. If there is a more precise way to capture details (other than System Information Summary, copy/paste, please let me know). I can't imagine how bad Hyrule field would be since that where, from what I've read, the real slow down begins. Mainly, I'd like Link to move a bit faster. Fighting in Faron Woods is in slow motion really.Ĭompromise: I'd be willing to give up some texture and extra effects (like seeing the blades of grass fly up where Link runs). Game: Zelda Twilight Princes (Gamecube version)Ĭurrent speed: Playable, but even in Ordon village, Link moves very slowly. I know you need a powerful CPU to run Dolphin, but I'm not sure if the dual core on my laptop makes that much of a difference. Literally just joined and I'm not a hardware person, so please don't ignore if this post if it is unintentionally too vague. Graphics Processor : NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 735M

But the Edge Pro seems to have no problem playing Dolphin just fine. I fell in love with the laptop, looking at it online almost every day until I came across these forums saying that it would struggle with Dolphin. Earlier this week I discovered 2 in 1 laptops and thought, "Hey, I wonder if I can get a gaming 2 in 1 laptop that can run dolphin games at a playable speed?" I came across the Flip 15A. Now for a "U" intel processor, the Edge Pro is handling those Wii games pretty well.

However, there is a youtube video showing how the razer edge pro handles the dolphin emulator HERE. Now from browsing these forums, I know that "U" intel processors aren't the best way to go with Dolphin in terms of speed and performance. I linked to the website as well above in case I'm missing any important specs. NVIDIA GT 640M LE (2GB DDR3, Optimus Technology) Processor Intel Core i7 Dual core w/ Hyper Threading I've been eyeing this tablet for a few months now, hesitant to purchase because of the price tag. I originally was looking for a tablet that could run dolphin games at full (or at least playable) speed and I had ran across the Razer Edge Pro.
